个人简介

沈红,女,武汉市人。华中科技大学二级教授,华中学者特聘教授,博士生导师,“伯乐奖”和“三育人奖”获得者,省高校人文社科重点研究基地“区域高等教育发展研究中心”主任,中国教育经济学研究会副理事长,湖北省教育经济学会理事长。享受国务院政府特殊津贴。曾为美国Fulbright高级研究学者和UNESCO亚太国家学生贷款研究中国首席顾问。发表中英文论文280篇(含第二作者)。出版中英文专译著10本。个人负责的科研总经费近900万元。在国(境)外召开的国际会议上发言50余次,作为大会主席在中国举办大型国际会议2次。

Hong SHEN is a Professor of Higher & Comparative Edu, and of Economics of Edu at School of Education of Huazhong Univ. of Sci.& Tech. (HUST, a 985 univ.), the Director of Hubei Provincial Center for Regional Higher Edu. She received her Ph.D in Management in 1997, Master in Education in 1991, and Bachelor in Engineering in 1982 all from HUST. She was a Fulbright Scholar at PSU (Pennsylvania) and UB (Buffalo NY) in the USA. She has been granted 36 research projects from UNESCO, EU, the Ford Foundation, NSF of China, MOE (education), varied foundations and governmental branches. She has been rewarded the Special Government Allowances of the State Council of China, and other scientific awards at the National and Provincial levels. She  has  published 270 articles  and 10 books in  Chinese and English, is currently the supervisor of 13 Ph.D(3 from oversea) and 7 Master students.She supervised 55 doctors and 56 masters graduated in last 20 years.
